The weekend boredom was bypassed with this book and if not for the initial dragging sequences; the story actually made it up for an interesting read.
All about 2 people (Fermina Daza and Florentino Ariza) who fall in love; but then with life and circumstances they pass along in different routes until finally the death of Dr. Urbino (Fermina Daza’s husband) brings them back under the shelter of their eternal love for each other.
A beautiful story where in love buds in the minds of 2 people at a very young age but then blooms out completely at an older age. After 53 years and 7 months, both Fermina Daza and Florentino Ariza unites together to celebrate the remaining few days in their love and it is for the extent and the stillness of the ocean to witness this re-union.
